Head of Gym Floor Experience, DW Fitness First

Tim is responsible for design and delivery of all DW Fitness First’s fitness programmes, whilst also training all staff to ensure that they stay one step ahead of the curve when it comes to the gym floor experience. After graduating with a sports science degree in 2001, he started out as a personal trainer at his local Fitness First.  After quickly progressing to fitness manager and general manager, he then moved on to multisite roles within sales and PT management.  He has a huge passion for making sure interaction and experience is at the forefront of every member and guest journey within DW Fitness First.

LUCY ANDREWS

Head of Group Exercise, DW Fitness First

Once a competitive athlete and still a keen netballer, Lucy is responsible for the Group Exercise offering across DW Fitness First. She designs, programmes, and creates the music and training of our Signature Group Exercise programmes. Using her experience of working in the fitness industry since 2005, from front of house to fitness management, to personal training, teaching classes, managing events and managing a club, she works to develop and improve the competency of staff and freelancers within group exercise. Lucy works with external third parties and industry leaders to ensure that the overall class offering is of an exceptionally high standard, well timetabled and tailored to local member demographics and trends. Lucy believes that group exercise is one of the best ways to engage members and guests in a regular fitness regime that is rewarding, enjoyable and delivers results and she strives to continually provide the best group exercise platform for our members and guests so that they can stay engaged in an exercise habit.
