A fantastic cardiovascular sport, swimming works not only your heart to improve stamina, but many other muscles in the body such as the arms, legs and core. Suitable for all ages and fitness abilities, swimming is a low-impact way to burn calories and tone up.
At DW Fitness First, our pools are open daily and offer lane swimming without the need to book, and some of our in-gym swimming pools even offer triathlon training classes.

Our London gyms with swimming pools are Baker Street, London Bridge Cottons, Waldorf, Bishopsgate and Tottenham Court Road in central London; Hammersmith, Highbury, Streatham and Thomas More Square in greater London.
Learn to swim at DW Fitness First Clubs
You don't have to be a pro to use the swimming pool at DW Fitness First, as all of our gyms with pools offer expert swim tuition. Classes run for 30–60 minutes and are available for all abilities – from total beginners to those just wanting to improve their technique. Non-members welcome! Contact your local club for further details.
The swimming pools are complimented by relaxing hot spa pools to soothe away the aches and stresses of the day, along with truly luxurious beautiful fibre optic lit steam rooms to complete the relaxation program - you won't want to go home!*
