Fitness & Member Experience Director, DW Fitness First

Lee has been in the fitness industry since he was 17. From a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise instructor through to Regional and National management roles and currently Fitness & Member Experience Director, Lee oversees the fitness product to ensure we deliver the best and most innovative experience for our members, including Group Exercise, Personal training, Gym floor experience, Fitness equipment and gym floor layout. 

Lee has led numerous large scale projects for Fitness First and is now bringing his expertise to DW following the recent acquisition of the two brands to deliver a first class fitness experience across the group.

Lee holds multiple fitness qualifications and can provide advice and tips on Group Exercise, Personal training, Fitness training methods, Fitness Equipment, Fitness trends and the service that DW Fitness First offers its members across the UK.

After a first degree in Physical Education and Social Studies at Loughborough University, Professor Stuart Biddle studied the Psychology of Sport & Physical Activity at the Pennsylvania State University. He has been lecturing in higher education since 1979, during which time he gained a PhD in Psychology. He was Head of the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Loughborough from 2001-2007.

His main interests are in behavioural aspects of physical activity, sedentary behaviour and health. Stuart has a broad approach to his research and includes work on the behavioural epidemiology of sedentary behaviours and physical activity, such as the investigation of the measurement, prevalence, correlates and behaviour change elements of sedentary behaviour. He is a widely sought after speaker at academic and professional meetings.
