Every year we pledge to reinvent ourselves by improving our fitness, aiming to lose weight and generally become more healthy and active individuals.
Unfortunately after the excitement of the New Year has worn off, too many of us have already given up on our New Year’s resolutions. As professional fitness enthusiasts, we wanted to discover how many people actually stuck to their New Year’s fitness plans and whether we could determine the influencing factors of why people abandon their new exercise routines.
We asked more than 1,000 people across the UK: “If you've ever made a New Year's Resolution to join a gym and get fit, did you stick to it?”
We’ve displayed the results in this striking infographic, and have also added in some relevant industry stats in order to show what people are up against as they attempt to get into shape in 2015.
