At DW Fitness Sunderland, you don’t have to settle for second best. Our range of exceptional equipment, specialist fitness areas and fantastic staff are all at your disposal to help you smash every personal best.

Variety is key in our Sunderland gym. Want to keep on top of your daily step targets? Head over to our cardio area. Feel like pumping iron? Our weights area is the place for you. We even have top-of-the-line Technogym resistance machines and a dedicated function area, giving you the space and equipment for a more comprehensive workout.

If your routine is feeling a bit dusty and you’re beginning to plateau, our team of friendly personal trainers are always looking for an excuse to help out with their expert fitness knowledge. If you need a break from the gym floor, our team can even offer swimming lessons in our on-site swimming pool, helping you make every stroke count.

There’s no need to rush off once you’ve finished working up a sweat. Our relaxation area is designed to help ease you into recovery, so you can leave the gym feeling fresh and re-energised. Welcome to DW Fitness Sunderland

Give yourself a leg-up on the competition with some of the best gym facilities. At DW Fitness Sunderland, we make sure our members have access to the best gym equipment and a range of fantastic group exercise classes to help you overcome every challenge.

We’re located on Timber Beach Road, just next to the New Wear Crossing bridge, and are open seven days a week from 6am to 10pm Monday to Thursday, 6am to 9pm on Fridays and 8am to 8pm on the weekend.

So, whether you’re up at the crack of dawn for a morning run, like to sneak out for a quick weights session on your lunch break or prefer to pop in at the end of the day for a spin class, our Sunderland gym suits everyone’s time schedule.

When visiting us, we’re easy to reach from the A1231 or Wessington Way and all our members can park for free. If you’re not driving, we’re just a short walk from the Pallion metro station and there are bus stops just outside the gym on Timber Beach Road and Hylton Park Road.

At DW Fitness Sunderland, our group exercise classes are a fantastic way to stay motivated and are led by our expert fitness instructors.
