Welcome to your local DW Fitness gym. Our Newtownabbey gym is easy to find on Longwood Road, a short walk from the Abbey shopping centre and easy to reach by car from the nearby A2. We’re also easy to access from outside the area using the nearby M2 motorway.

With free parking for members and a great selection of cafes, casual dining options, restaurants and retail shops within walking distance, our Newtownabbey gym is perfectly situated for you to enjoy a workout any time of day. After your workout, you can walk over to the Abbey centre on Longwood Road for retail therapy, or stop by O'Briens, Caffe Nero or Next Cafe to refuel.

Facilities at DW Fitness Newtownabbey

We know that DW Fitness members expect the highest quality, which is why we’ve equipped our Newtownabbey gym with a great selection of cardio equipment, free weights and more. In our cardio area, you’ll find a diverse selection of premium treadmills, cross trainers and other high-quality equipment. Our cardio machines let you train at your own pace while easily tracking your calories burned, average speed, distance travelled and other workout data.

Feel like a weight training workout? You’ll find a complete range of dumbbells, barbells, weight plates, racks and benches in our free weights area. We also have resistance and cable machines to help you target, isolate and train specific muscle groups. Our functional training zone gives you a variety of tools to develop your functional strength and improve your sports and action-specific mobility.

Prefer to work out in a group setting? No problem. Our Newtownabbey gym has two studios for group exercise training, offering a large variety of classes such as BodyPump, Zumba, spin and much more. There’s a luxurious steam room for you to relax in once you’ve finished working out, as well as sunbeds and a spa pool. Plus you can enjoy full use of the swimming pool with aqua aerobics classes, swimming lanes and swimming lessons available for people of all ages.

After you’ve finished working out, you can clean and freshen up in our modern male and female changing and showering areas. With secure lockers for your belongings, a cafe and bar area for members and an on-site sports store, we have everything you need for an enjoyable workout.
