Providing you with professionally trained PTs and elite exercise equipment, right in the heart of Central London, our Covent Garden gym has everything you need to get ahead with your fitness journey.
Fitness First The Strand is conveniently located in Covent Garden, making it easy to escape the buzz and focus on your fitness. We’re open from 6am to 10pm between Monday and Thursday, 6am to 9pm on Fridays and 8am to 5pm over the weekends.
Begin the day with Bootcamp training, shake up the day with a midday SHRED session or end the day on a high with a HIIT workout. Whatever time of the day you want to train, we’ll be there to support you.
Located less than a ten-minute walk from Charing Cross, Covent Garden and Leicester Square Underground stations, we couldn’t be easier to reach. Plus, we’re just a stone’s throw from the Charing Cross rail station too.

In need of a wind-down session? Give yourself some TLC with a relaxing trip to the sauna or cool down your body after an intense workout with our high-tech cool air showers. Working up a sweat has never felt so good!
If you’re in need of more information on how to make the most of your workouts, we also have an IPoint on site which will show you the studio schedule, recommend you a new workout and allow you to browse our personal trainer profiles. You can also make use of our iPad bar, so you can always stay connected.

June is a self-confessed neat freak, she’ll meet and greet you with her trademark smile and help you have an enjoyable experience at our gym.
Habibat, aka Habi, is a fun, fabulous member of our fitness team at The Strand. Functional and glutes training are his speciality so why not try his glute gains classes for a stronger, firmer, toned looking butt.
Gabriel, aka “Mr Gainz” has strong background in fitness and a passion for motivating members to achieve their fitness potential. He’s great at helping with muscle building and weight loss.
Edwardo has been in fitness for years. Getting the best out of you is what he does best; power, energy, strength, plyometric, speed, functional and freestyle is his thing. He’s a people person, here to support you so make sure you say hi!
Ben's been in the Fitness industry 9 years and absolutely loves it! He strives to create an amazing atmosphere in club with the rest of the team. Besides training Ben enjoys surfing, DIY, socialising and travelling.
Antony enjoys contributing to a fun, creative and energetic club environment and has a passion for martial arts and fitness.
Lee specialises in strength and conditioning and is a qualified personal trainer. He worked for a professional rugby club and has a first class bachelor's degree in Sports Science. If you need any advice, you'll find him on the gym floor.
Laura has travelled around Asia as a scuba diving instructor, now settled in London she’s pursued a career in fitness. She loves interacting with members so if you fancy a chat she’s the one who is always dancing.
After graduating with an honours degree in Sports Science 8 years ago, Katie followed her passion and started working in the fitness industry. If you fancy a chat you'll find her on the Olympic lifting platform throwing the weights around.
Marcel really enjoys working with individuals that are new to the gym and want a fresh start in fitness. Marcel is an expert in weight loss and building muscle and works extremely hard to bring customers satisfaction.
Specialises in weight loss, strength training and HIIT. Anna will help you to achieve your goals in the best possible way. Making it easier, healthier and fun because fit is not a destination, it is a way of life.
