We’re perfectly situated in the heart of the city and are open 7 days a week, from 6am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm over the weekends.

It couldn’t be easier to reach us, as we’re located just a stone’s throw from Bath Spa rail station and there are also a number of bus stops just outside our doors on James Street West. If you’re travelling by car, you can find us just off the A36.

Facilities at Fitness first Bath

Fitness is all about smashing your goals and to do that, you need to make sure you have the very best gear available. To make sure our members have all the tools they need to succeed, all of our free weights and resistance machines are top-of-the-range Technogym equipment.

At Fitness First Bath, you’re not only limited to basic gym tech, our members also have access to our specialist training areas. You can put your muscles to the test by training like an Olympic Athlete in our X-Lift area, or you can give yourself an extensive full body workout in our indoor athletics area.

If you ever need any pointers, our experienced PTs are always happy to give you a hand and make sure you’re performing perfectly. We also have an intelligent iPoint zone, which allows you to browse training plans and watch exercise video tutorials.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of your gym experience, finish up your workout with a trip to our sauna for a post-workout detox. You can also relax and catch your breath in our comfortable lounge area where all our members can access our free Wi-Fi.

Multi-gym: Take your workouts with you wherever you go with our multi-gym membership. This plan gives you access to a number of DW Fitness First gyms and is our most popular option.
