Facilities

Our Bangor gym is outfitted with a complete range of machines, from cardio equipment to free weights, functional training gear and more. In our cardio area, you’ll find a large selection of treadmills, cross trainers, stationary bikes and other modern equipment to help you burn calories and improve endurance. Our modern cardio equipment allows you to record calories burned, track your heart rate and more.

You’ll also find a large free weights area equipped with barbells, dumbbells, benches and all the equipment you need for a demanding strength-training workout. Our gym is equipped with a full range of resistance training equipment and cable machines for isolation exercises. Prefer to train for functional strength? No problem. At our Bangor gym, you’ll find a specialised functional training area to help you improve functional strength and mobility. We even provide Power Plates vibrating training platforms to help you train your muscles from every angle.

Love working out in a group? From tai chi to circuit training, we offer a complete range of group exercise classes. Suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced athletes, our group classes let you work out as part of a group while training at a pace and intensity level that’s comfortable for you. Once you’ve finished your workout, you can browse our on-site sports shop, enjoy the free WiFi in our members’ lounge and cafe bar, relax in the steam room, or tan and relax your skin with our sunbeds. Our Bangor gym also features a swimming pool, with swimming lessons available for guests of all ability levels. With male and female changing rooms and showering areas, secure lockers and a welcoming, friendly training environment, DW Fitness Bangor is the perfect place to work on your personal fitness and achieve your goals.
