Take an Iyengar Yoga class at DW Fitness First

Develop body mobility, stability and strength from this Hatha yoga form, via asanas -known as postures: carried out with perfect body alignment and held for periods of time, while utilising pranayma -control of the breath.

You can progress gradually by moving from simple poses to more complex ones as you develop your practice through a step by step approach taken by each instructor.

In this form of yoga you can use equipment such as blocks or straps to aid you in performing certain postures correctly, minimising your risk of injury or strain and making more postures accessible regardless of your ability.
