ARE DWFF CLUBS OPEN?
Yes – we are open for business and ready to help you stay active and stay safe
WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MINIMISE THE RISK OF THE VIRUS SPREADING?
Our approach is twofold; social distancing and extra cleaning measures as detailed above.
HOW CAN MEMBERS HELP?
You can definitely help us stay safe together. Common sense measures you can take are:
• Regularly washing hands with soap and water
• Using hand sanitiser gel if soap and water is unavailable
• Covering your mouth with a tissue or sleeve (not your hand) when you sneeze
• Disposing of used tissues and washing hands immediately
• Avoiding close contact with people who are unwell
• Staying at home if you're feeling unwell - visit nhs.uk with any concerns
There will be extra cleaning supplies available in-club, please help us by wiping down any equipment that you use during your workout.
ARE THERE ANY CONFIRMED CASES IN DWFF?
We have not currently had any confirmed cases. We have closed and deep cleaned one club and have a process in place should we need to do it again. If that does occur, members and staff will be informed.
CAN I STILL BOOK CLASSES?
You can, but to support the Government’s social distancing guidelines, we have halved capacity. This ensures there is sufficient space between class attendees.
CAN I STILL USE THE POOL AND RELAXATION AREA?
Pools and steam rooms are still open - swimming is actively encouraged as a good way to keep fit due to the chemicals in the pools. Social distancing guidelines still apply. All saunas are closed.
CAN I CHANGE MY HOME CLUB?
You don’t need to change your home club if you want to use another one. As a temporary measure, all existing members can now use any club, whatever your membership tier. We realise your routine may have changed and we want to continue to support you.
CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?
In line with Public Health England guidance, members in ‘high risk’ categories (aged 70 or over, pregnant women and those with a long-term condition or weakened immune system) who wish to freeze their membership will be offered a free freeze of up to three months.
Members not in the above categories who wish to freeze their membership will be offered the usual £5 freeze rate for one month.
Please ask in-club about processes for freezing membership.
ARE MY PT SESSIONS STILL ON?
Please discuss with your PT – we continue to support all DWFF PTs by making them aware of social distancing guidelines and how they apply to a one-on-one session.
DWFF PTs can also work from any club to support members who may have changed their routine.
DO I NEED TO TELL YOU IF I’VE BEEN ADVISED TO SELF-ISOLATE?
Yes – please call your club and let them know, especially if you have had a positive test.
HOW WILL YOU COMMUNICATE WITH ME?
We are keeping a very close watch on the coronavirus situation. We will be in touch with members regularly during this period if we have any updates, both for the company as a whole and for any individual club.
